This in-depth course prepares learners to explore the physical factors—such as chronological age, developmental stage, weight, diagnosis, and comorbidities—that must be considered when selecting appropriate pain-management medications and adjusting pediatric dosing, as well as the psychosocial and spiritual factors that may be influenced by the patient’s age and family belief systems.
