Full course description

This course focuses on individual-level actions and attitudes that promote self-care and resilience among clinicians who provide primary palliative care in their primary care practices. Clinicians engaged in the emotionally demanding work of caring for seriously ill patients and their families who do not practice self-care are at risk for burnout. When clinicians have strong personal habits of self-care and are resilient, they can protect themselves against stress, and foster greater joy and long-term productivity in this meaningful work.
